The manufacturing process of rubber bumper plates is complicated and costly. This is why many companies outsourced their bumper plates production to factories in developing countries with loose environmental policies. Yes, bumper plates manufacturing process is quite polluting because raw material treatment and rubber vulcanization which involve high temperature and chemical reaction can be detrimental to our environment.

As one of the very few manufacturers that keep its bumper plates production in house in Taiwan, Gymway invested heavily in proper equipment to ensure the manufacturing process meets the Taiwanese government environmental standards, which is one of the strictest in the world.
